Policy
Statement on Health, Safety and Environment (HSE)
It is a primary concern of the IDTEC Management
to ensure the health and safety of personnel and
to conserve the environment. All duties, areas
of authority and responsibilities for health,
safety and environment are defined in the general
rules of operation of the company.
Our goal is to avoid accidents,
health problems and environmental damages. Therefore
we continuously improve the company’s HSE
management system. This includes measures to ensure
an accident-free and sustainable work in our facilities.
It is based on the philosophy to identify and
control all potential causes of risks, and to
eliminate all unacceptable hazards.
IDTEC has set the following main
objectives for itself and its contractors:
• To conduct all its operations
in such a way as to avoid harm to the health of
employees and damages caused to the
environment.
• To execute all operations in compliance
with all required laws and regulations.
• To establish and implement rules and procedures
of the highest industrial standard.
• To provide and maintain safe and efficient
equipment and installations and to improve these
steadily through research and technical
development.
• To provide skilled and experienced personnel
improved by continuous training.
• To measure performance.
• To identify and correct deficiencies.
• To establish and maintain an efficient
communication structure.
• To ensure that all personnel are familiar
with the intentions of IDTEC’s HSE principles.
• To assure that no third party is harmed
by IDTEC personnel, products or methods of operation.
Accordingly this is our goal:
“No accidents and
damages to facilities and/or the environment”
Therefore it is essential that:
“Nothing is so
urgent or important that disregarding the HSE
rules could be tolerated”
Every employee and contractor
is responsible for him/herself, his/her work environment
and that this policy is followed.
Our HSE policy is reviewed regularly
by the management.
The long-term economic success
of the company is intimately connected to a successful
implementation of the HSE guidelines.
