About our Parent Company

Bentec’s roots reach back to 1888 when the German drilling contractor DEUTAG was founded with its own engineering service and repair department.

In 1993 Bentec Drilling & Oilfield Systems was established and is now an independent business unit of the Abbot Group plc.
